Although we dislike the term “Mail Order Bride” and prefer terms such as “International Dating” and the like, the term “Mail Order Bride” is simply much better known at the moment. There really isn’t anything “wrong” with the term, it just casts these ladies in a light where one might think that a man can simply “order” one off the internet and have her delivered to his door. Nothing could be further from the truth! In all actuality, it is more difficult for a Ukrainian or Russian woman to enter your country and she must go through a lot of red tape and paperwork…interviews, background checks etc…
